Two-time presidential election loser Hillary Clinton continues to bemoan the results of the 2016 and her desperation to make her ‘case’ and remain relevant are becoming embarrassingly desperate.
Ever since she had her backside handed to her on November 8, 2016, Clinton has been busy concocting a list of excuses for her poor performance.
Zero Hedge writes that these excuses include the blame being put on: James Comey, the FBI, Vladimir Putin, the Russians in general, Wikileaks, low information voters, the electoral college, anti-American forces, her supporters who didn’t vote, bad polling numbers, Obama, White women, the New York Times, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, misogynists, TV executives, Netflix, Social Media, Macedonian content farms, campaign finance, Steve Bannon, Breitbart, the GOP, Cambridge Analytica, women protesters, Matt Lauer, voter suppression, the Benghazi investigators, the Supreme Court, men, and the ‘invisible state’.
Flying to India aboard a luxurious private jet with confidant Huma Abedin and an unidentified blonde woman, Clinton held a speaking event in Mumbai sponsored by India Today and was escorted around by Richard Holkar, a rich playboy of the Holkar Kingdom.
During her speech, Hillary offered up another excuse as to why she lost the election.
Speaking about then-candidate President Trump, Hillary told the crowd, “He ran the first reality TV campaign and he was the first reality TV candidate. If you watch reality TV, you know it means that the person who is the most outrageous, the person who says the politically incorrect things, the person who’s insulting and attacking, drives big ratings.”
In the past, Hillary has tried to play to the fact that she secured the popular vote by a 3 million count but has had to back off that claim seeing as the electoral vote (which Trump won) is what determines the winner.
Now Clinton is peddling a rather bizarre addendum to her list of excuses that displays signs of logic undergoing tremendous torture.
Hillary told the Indian crows, “I won the places that represent 2/3 of America’s gross domestic product. So, I won the areas that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward. And his whole campaign ‘Make America Great Again,’ was looking backwards.”
Americans living in states like Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Louisiana and Arizona are those among over 30 states that went with Trump and have now been portrayed as pessimistic and close-minded reactionaries.
This remark is on par with her ‘basket of deplorables’ remark she made during the campaign.
If there is one reason preeminent among the rest as to why Hillary lost, it was her elitist dismissal of Americans that soured voters to her sense of superiority.
