A Fox News commentator and a Univision host traded barbs over the topic of immigration and sanctuary cities.
The topic of Ivan Zamarripa-Castaneda, a 26-year-old illegal immigrant who killed a truck driver in a Denver hit and run accident recently, came up. Fox News host Tucker Carlson pointed out that Zamarripa-Castaneda was released before agents from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency had access to him.

Jorge Ramos, who appeared to be no match for Carlson, babbled throughout the interview and seemed to rely on talking points, reported Daily Caller.
“I don’t know why you want to become state media,” replied Ramos to Carlson’s mentioning of a case, “Because you are criminalizing a majority of immigrants.”
“State media?” replied Carlson, “I’m asking about this specific case.”
When Ramos appeared to be trying to connect President Trump to the case, Carlson shot back, “Spare me your Univision talking points. I’m asking you a question.”
Ramos refused to answer the question and continued his talking point by saying, “Okay, this is the argument. The argument is that the vast majority of immigrants, you have heard this argument, the vast majority are not criminals and are less likely to be criminals or behind bars.”
Ramos yelled at Carlson that he was not on the show to defend the actions of criminals.
Does that not undermine his whole defense of ILLEGAL aliens?
“But just to criminalize the entire immigrant population because of one person would be like if I were to criminalize the entire population because of Stephen Paddock,” whined Ramos.
“Of course I agree with that, you should never attack people on the basis of things because of other people. I’m not talking about all people. I’m talking about this person who is protected by policies that you support and have advocated for and the rest of us are suffering because of that,” Carlson responded. “So why don’t you tell me why was it a good idea to let this guy out of jail, Mr. Neck tattoo charged with homicide?
“Again, I’m not here defending criminals,” Ramos offered, “But I think that sanctuary cities is a good idea. I think that somebody has to defend immigrants.”
Seriously, there’s no talking to liberals…
